The Light Beyond is a Gothic Rock / Synth-pop / Dark Wave / Trip Hop band from Prague, Czech republic. You can find other influences in the music of The Light Beyond, too. Especially Dance Music, Acid Jazz, Downtempo, Electronic Body Music and Electro Punk.

News :

• April 2007 - In the course of April, a new The Light Beyond site wiil be launched at the internet label Ekleipsi which will also include  a possibilty to download a 6-song EP Garden Of Eden (extended EP).

• February 22, 2007 - A new song Sleeping Crow to download. Exclusively on this page only.

• January 18, 2007  - A new song called Breaking All Promises was recorded. You can hear it and download it at myspace.com. Two more songs are coming soon!

• May 25, 2005  - Another new song to download! Downtempo / Drum'n'bass number Edge Of Nothing in .ogg format (Winamp can play it without any problems).

• May 10, 2005 - Now you can download the mp3 song Disappear, which is, in some fans' opinion, the best number by The Light Beyond ever!

• Since January 2004 it has been possible to download limitless full length 13 mp3 songs by The Light Beyond at Freemusic.cz! More information in mp3 section. And while you're at it, don't forget to visit other Hank Rosse's projects' mp3 sites - Dancing Idiots (electro-house-trance) and Kolben Brothers (funk-soul-rock).

• During 2003 4 songs were finished : State Of Mind, Big Time Politics, Garden Of Eden and So Wrong. The Light Beyond have moved more towards Gothic Rock and Electro Punk, but they succeded in keeping their own style. All four songs can be downloaded from Freemusic.cz. • In May 2003 a Czech & Slovak Depeche Mode Tribute titled Some Great Celebration was released by EMI Czech Republic. The Light Beyond contributed with a strings-punk coverversion of Dressed In Black. The album can be obtained in most shops in Czechia.
